TruthQuesters face news conference

ST. LOUIS, June 10 - Seven members of TruthQuest answer reporters' questions during a press conference in the Baptist Press newsroom. The TruthQuesters, 12 teenagers, will set out on a 16-day adventure in July to share on camera about cutting-edge ministries in California. This non-sensationalized Christian version of reality TV will chronicle the teens adventures in 13 half-hour episodes by FamilyNet Television, to air in the fall. From Southern Baptist congregations across America, they are, left to right, Andy, 18, of First Church, Cleveland, Tenn.; Shanna, 17, of Calvary Church, Winston-Salem, N.C.; Chip, 18, of Franklin Avenue Church, New Orleans; Cara, 17, of First Church, Cleveland, Tenn.; Josh, 16, of First Church, Snellville, Ga.; Sparky, 14, of First Church, Franklin, Tenn.; and Tim, 14, of First Church, Franklin, Tenn. The news conference was held in St. Louis' America's Center prior to the Southern Baptist Convention.
